Loudoun County Public Library seeks a proven leader for the position of Children’s Services Manager in one of the branches. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the management and administration of the programs and services for children in the branch. This position will be responsible for the training, supervision and evaluation of department staff and planning, presenting and evaluating all library programs for children. Additionally, the Children’s Services Manager is part of the branch’s management team. The successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to, and knowledge of, the mission of the public library in the 21st century. Experience in children’s literature, programming, technology, community outreach required
Requires completion of a Master's degree from an American Library Association accredited school and one year professional library experience which must include prior supervisory experience. Schedule will vary, including weekends and evenings.
