ILS Graduate Non-Degree

ILS offers a registration option for individuals who are not admitted to a degree program. This option has been primarily used by people wanting to explore the MLS or MIS degree options (but who have not yet been admitted), or by working professionals wanted to update their education. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree to apply.

Note: Strong English language skills are expected. See TOEFL and GRE requirements for degree-seeking students

Students may take ILS S401 - Computer-Based Information Tools (a pre-requisite course), and up to six credit hours, prior to admission - that if admitted to the MLS or MIS - would count towards the degree.

To be set up to register, a student should first Apply Online. Select the ILS Graduate Non-Degree option.

Contact the ILS Recorder if you have any registration difficulties, or questions: Phone (812.855.2018) or Email (slis@indiana.edu).
