In the past two years, seven SLIS students in SLIS faculty member Lokman I. Meho's classes have successfully published one of their course projects in notable library and information science journals. The projects range from research guides about Kazaks and Haitian Americans to pathfinders about euthanasia and fair use laws.

Paul Betty and Simon Braune wrote their research guides as part of L625 Information in the Social Sciences. The other projects by Lana Gottschalk, Sarah Horowitz, Kelly Myer Polacek, Melanie Schlosser, and Jeffrey Waller were pathfinders created in Meho's L524 Information Sources and Services course.
