SLIS Ph.D. in Information Science students hosted and presented at the annual Doctoral Research Forum held this year on October 6, 2012. Visiting Scholar Lili Lin also gave a talk. Dr. Ying Ding, director of the SLIS doctoral program, and other faculty members attended.
The Forum included an opening talk by guest speaker Lorcan Dempsey, Vice President and Chief Strategist from OCLC. Dempsey was also this year's invited Kaser Lecture speaker, on October 5, 2012.
Guo Zhang and Chaoqun Ni received awards for the best presentations. The doctoral forum included:
