• For the Future: What Today's Youth Services Librarians Want the Next Generation to Know
Tilley's October 2, 2012 posting was a profile of SLIS IUPUI graduate Angela Dubinger (MLS'07). Angela is the Youth Services Manager at the New Castle-Henry County Public Library in New Castle, Indiana. This blog offers great tips for future librarians.
SLIS offers a Children's and Young Adult Services Specialization with the Master of Library Science. Coursework and advising leading to School Library Media Certification requirements are also available. The Children's and Young Adult Services Organization - Student Group offers opportunities for current students to explore related career paths.
