Making IT Happen

This year's "Making IT Happen!", a day-long information technology (IT) fair highlighting support, resources, and innovations in IT at IU, will feature student showcases of academic projects that use IT:

"Making IT Happen!" 2004
Wednesday, February 18
10am to 4pm
Frangipani Room, IMU

SLIS students have been showcased in the past. This is an excellent forum to showcase your IT projects to others at IU and a great opportunity to gain valuable resume-building experience. The application deadline is Thursday,
February 5.

Entry requirements:

Any academic area
Completed in the past year
Used IT resources for research, compilation, analysis, etc.

Entries can span the arts, sciences, business, etc. The main requirement is that in completing your project, you relied on information technology resources to either research, compile, analyze, etc.

Types of projects could include, but are not limited to:

  • textual analysis
  • music theory
  • fine arts
  • demographics
  • statistics
  • interior design
  • molecular rendering
  • simulations
  • multi-media
  • modeling
  • advanced visualization
  • virtual reality
  • massive data storage
  • mapping
  • others....
