Week 2—January 22

In class activity:  Examine and evaluate library web sites.  Create a Humanities Reference Page for your ideal library web page.  Bring with you examples of what you see as a good library web page and a bad library web page—one of each.  Since most libraries now use their web pages as starting points for their patrons, we will want to look at these pages closely and think about how people use information.  This class discussion should stick with you throughout the semester as we explore resources, indexes, pathfinders, etcÉ
